About the role
JOB DUTIES
Must be an experienced CNC Programmer and CAD Operator. Uses AutoCAD to provide detailed shop drawings and uses Cabinet Vision to create programs and generate CNC codes to produce cabinet parts ready for cutting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produces complete, accurate, and detailed shop drawings.
- Produces CNC Programs according to approved shop drawings.
- Produces complete to-do lists and order lists.
- Visits job sites to verify measurements for drawings.
- Prepares complete and accurate material take-offs for quotations.
- Revision of Material Take Off when needed
- Communicate directly with clients/designers/general contractors when needed.
- Reports daily and updates the Supervisor on job status.
- Order materials and hardware when needed.
- Coordinate with the Cabinet Maker/Installers when required.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
- CNC Machine Operator
- Helps with receiving and organizing deliveries of new stocks using the First In, First Out basis.
- Helps with the delivery of cabinetry if it is needed
- Any other related task as required, compliant with manufacturing requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Must be knowledgeable in reading Architectural drawings/interior design
- Must have experience with Auto CAD, Cabinet Vision, Woodwop, and 3D Software
- Must be an experienced CNC programmer, know how to read shop drawings and CNC programming, and possess advanced knowledge in the Cabinetry industry.
- Must be organized.
- Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
- Should have a positive and professional attitude.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Saturday from 7:30 am to 12 pm may be required
Work Experience: At least 2 years
Salary Rate: 12KYD to 17KYD hourly rate depending on the experience
