Janitor

Sure Clean Cayman is seeking dedicated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our cleaning team in the role of Janitor. Ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Janitor Duties

• Clean homes, offices, hallways, break rooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, floors and partitions.
• Empty, clean and re-line trash and recycling receptacles.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies (soap, paper products, etc.).
• Spot clean walls, doors, glass, and high-touch surfaces.
• Clean kitchen/break areas (sinks, counters, microwaves, refrigerators exterior).
• Perform basic floor care (buffing/auto-scrubbing as needed).
• Report maintenance needs and safety hazards; perform light maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs).
• Follow safety procedures and proper use of chemicals and equipment.
• Lock/unlock facilities as assigned and secure work areas.

Technical & Cleaning Skills

• Proficient in sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care.
• Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Restroom sanitation and replenishing supplies.
• Carpet cleaning and spot treatment.
• Operation of cleaning equipment (buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, etc.)

Physical Abilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting moderate weights (typically 35–50 lbs).

Working Hours & Benefits

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Saturday
• Benefits: Statutory benefits provided
