About the role

Experienced Server – Mobile Private Chef & Catering Company

We are seeking an experienced, professional and dependable Server to join our mobile private chef and catering team.

Unlike a traditional restaurant environment, our team travels to private residences, vacation villas and event locations to provide personalized food and beverage service. Our services range from beautifully presented charcuterie and grazing boards to breakfast, lunch, private dinners and special events.

The position involves assisting with the complete guest experience, including event setup, table preparation, food and beverage service, wine service, clearing, breakdown and cleanup. Servers will work closely with our chefs to ensure each event runs smoothly and our guests receive attentive, professional and personalized service.

As a mobile operation, the role also involves travelling to different locations, loading and unloading supplies and equipment, and adapting to a variety of private homes and event environments.

Applicants must have

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional serving experience
  • Strong wine knowledge and wine-service experience
  • Current Food Handler/Food Safety Certification
  • Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ lbs
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Professional appearance and a high level of discretion when working in private residences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and extended hours
  • Ability to accommodate last-minute bookings and schedule changes

This position is best suited to someone who enjoys providing high-quality, personalized hospitality and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment where every booking and location may be different.
