About the role

Baptiste Holdings, T/A FitnessPlus “Retail,” offers sales, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential gym equipment and accessories.

Working hours for FitnessPLUS are 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Saturday. FitnessPLUS also offers maintenance contracts to several commercial, semi-commercial, and private gym clients to ensure their equipment is always in perfect working order and ready for its clients.

The company needs an “In-House” Maintenance Person/Cleaner responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance of their showroom, workshop, and warehouse facilities. This person will organize stock items and new inventory, clean up duties on site of equipment installations, and significant refurbishments or repair jobs for their customers. This person will also perform essential preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and safety checks of the gym equipment according to various manufacturer recommendations. Previous experience relevant to the role would be an asset.

The candidate must have basic knowledge of cleaning and maintaining gym equipment. They must also be able to multitask, pay close attention to detail, and follow instructions. 1-2 years experience relevant to the role.
