About the role
- Collect blood samples.
- Create bills for laboratory procedures.
- Prepare samples for shipping. This includes but is not limited to spinning and pouring, labeling, packaging, generating labels and ensuring that correct lab numbers are present.
- Advise on stability and shipping quality of samples.
- Analyze samples for HIV, VDRL, Drug screen, urine dipstick and BHCG in-house.
- Create reports for test conducted.
- Perform Quality Checks. i.e. temperature of refrigerators, disposal of medical waste.
- Order laboratory supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of lab area and equipment.
