HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/ LABOURER
JOB DECRIPTION
- Operating heavy machinery to perform construction-related tasks, such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Ensuring that safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times
- Coordinating and communicating with other construction workers to ensure efficient task completion
- Adhering to all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to construction, safety, and equipment operation
- Load and unload heavy materials from trucks and other transportation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
- Good physical condition and stamina, able to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid certification to operate heavy equipment (preferred).
- Must have a valid Group 4 driver’s license.
