About the role
GUTTER INSTALLER We are seeking a reliable Gutter Installer who display excellent attention to detail and be physically strong and fit with the ability to work at heights on ladders, scaffoldings and roofs in various weather conditions in order to meet clients demands. An outstanding Gutter Installer must always be looking for ways to improve their skills and efficiency. Gutter Installer Responsibilities:
- Inspecting sites and removing hazardous items.
- Preparing time and material cost estimates.
- Using a spirit level to ensure accuracy.
- Drilling holes to fit screws and mount brackets.
- Caulking all gaps and joints.
- Sourcing appropriate replacement gutters when required.
- Fabricating all parts required for the job.
- Keeping strong and fit enough to perform duties.
- Cut gutters to length, using a power saw, hand shears or machine.
- Hang assembled gutters from hangers, using a ladder or scaffolding.
- Install downspouts, elbows, and miters at specified locations.
- Seal joints between sections of gutters, using caulking compound or sealants.
- Repair damaged gutters, using hand tools.
- Clean up job site daily, removing all debris and rubbish.
- Comply with safety regulations when working with ladders, scaffoldings, and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
